Peter's Summer Pictures

So this is a loooooooooong post, but we have taken a lot of pictures the last few months with the many changes Peter seems to do daily. He has grown up so fast. These pictures and videos go from newest to oldest.

Peter discovering my chin was a great chew toy one night after dinner just a few days ago. I couldn't stop laughing.

Peter's first Daddy doggie pile last Sunday.

Peter making a funny face. He is getting good at these lately.

We haven't had many nice days the last month, so on one of them we called up some friends and went to the park. It just happened to be the day Peter turned 6 months old and I got some great shots of him sitting up all by himself playing with his toys.

This is his favorite thing to chew on his fingers and thumb!!!!

Among playing well, sitting up all by myself for the last month I have started solid food and find it fabulous. I also love drinking from mom's water glass. I have recently learned how to shake my head "no" and love to do it at anything and anyone with a smile on my face, especially when mom shakes her head "yes". Video will be coming soon of this.

Mom's finger. I love to chew on them.

Playing and enjoying myself.

Showing my chunkie-munkie muscles to the world.

Grandma Nanette and me hanging out in early July when I was almost 4 months old.

Working on tummy time.

Doing one of the things I love most. BOUNCING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and my frog, how he makes me laugh.

In June sleeping and getting ready for all the playing I will do in July and August.

3 months old in this picture.

Peter recently learned how to roll from his stomach to his back. This video was taken a day or so after his first roll over so it is a little long, but none the less cute.

This is Peter laughing at his Kaylie while she is counting cards and playing a version of peek-a-boo. He loves his brother and sister so much!!!!

When Peter was about 3 months old we had some helium balloons in the house and he loved them.

Peter laughing for me. He is soooooooo ticklish it is hilarious.

Summer Pictures of Kaylie

Kaylie helping me make applesauce this year.

Kaylie has started taking dance class this fall once a week for an hour. In that hours time she is learning ballet and tap. We hope that the dance class will help her come out of her shy shell a little bit and get her ready to be in kindergarten next fall. She is loving dance so far and keeps asking if it is dance class (today ) everyday. Here she is in her tap shoes.

Here she is in her ballet shoes the first day of class.

One day this summer playing dress-up, which is usually a daily occurrence.

Kaylie and Peter together.

Three Kids Together!!!!

Here are some pictures I took of the kids together from June through August.

Daniel sporting a great summer tan(6 years), Peter (almost 5 months old), Kaylie(3 1/2 years) taken at the beginning of August.

Daniel and Peter sporting matching t-shirt and onsize. Daniel realized this before anyone else and he had to have his picture taken with his brother. The funny thing is, is that they were bought at two different times by different people.

Doggie pile on Daddy time!!!!!! Soon Jeff will have a third to top the pile. Lucky Dad:)

Grandma Nanette and her Grandson's.

My three cuties smiling up at me. Peter is about 3months old in this picture. How time does fly.

Peter and Kaylie sound asleep on the couch together after a busy morning.

Daniel's 6th Birthday!!!!

It is hard to believe that six years ago I gave birth to this tiny baby boy who had my heart long before he was born. He has grown into such an amazing, kind hearted, and funny boy. Happy Birthday Daniel, I love you!!!

Daniel is into many things so when talking about what he would like to do for his birthday this year we narrowed it down to two themes. Pirates won out. So I made two pirate ship birthday cakes, yo-ho-ho soda and shiver me timber pizza. After pizza and cake the boys listened to a tale about Daniel's imaginary twin brother Pirate the Patriote and his hidden treasure. The boys then had to follow a series of clues to find the treasure. Some of the things the boys did on their treasure hunt were walking through a cave of spiders, hopping over a river of hot lava, having to fight the natives with buccaneer pistols(aka water guns) while they attacked with water balloons, and slip'n sliding through dragon invested waters. They had a blast.

Here are a couple of pictures of his cake. I was able to find special pirate character candles, that is what is floating in the water with the fish.

The yo-ho-ho pizza.

Daniel eating his pirate lunch. I have several other better pictures but they include the boys and I don't know if the families would want their kids pictures posted on the internet, so I am only posting the ones of just Daniel.

Daniel just getting done blowing out his candles.

One of the boys having fun with a gift bag. Even at six the most random things can provide a lot of fun and laughs.

At the end of the treasure hunt the kids found a pinata treasure chest filled with candy and had a fun time trying to hit it open.
