Christmas 2011

So Christmas was a while back and I have yet to update our blog about the wonderful Christmas we had. So today I am finally trying to add some new posts. This year was especially fun because my Mom and Dad were able to spend fly in on Christmas Eve and spend Christmas vacation with us, and because the kids made Christmas so special this year.

Kaylie is helping me make Christmas cookies. She had suck fun rolling them in sugar. She has become such a big helper.

One night for FHE we painted some Christmas figurines. Here  are some pictures from that night and of course Peter trying to be a part of it.

Daniel painting his Christmas Tree. He tried so hard to paint every little of the tree.

Kaylie painting her colorful angel.

Peter smiling for Dad.

Another view of Kaylies angel.

Christmas afternoon. The kids woke up and got to see what Santa brought them in their stockings, we had breakfast and then got ready for church. After we got home from church we had Daniel and Kaylie tell us the Nativity Story and then we opened presents. Although Peter got his own unwrapping present time because he was napping during the first one.  Daniel is infatuated with Star Wars right now and he got some books from us for Christmas.

Kaylie looking on while I read to her about her new camera from Grandma Brenda and Grandpa John. She loves it.

Daniel looking at his Star Wars Lego set that he got from Grandma Brenda and Grandpa John. Boy dose he play with those characters all of the time.

Peter has finally woken up and is ready for his turn. First he enjoyed pushing the boxes around before he figured out he could rip the paper and mommy wouldn't try and take it from him.

Look at that cute face!!!

Here he is playing with his fire truck and wearing the hat Grandma Nanette knitted for him.

Trying to figure out how to get the car out of the box.

Playing around.

Family Christmas photo. It is hard to get a good picture of 7 people at once. We loved having Grandma Nanette and Grandpa Terry with us during Christmas. It made it that much more special.
